LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy is one of the gentlest, most restorative treatments we offer. It works through a process called photobiomodulation: specific wavelengths of light are absorbed by skin cells and trigger cascades of biological responses that vary depending on the wavelength used. The easiest way to think about it is photosynthesis for the skin — light energy converted into cellular energy and action.
What Each Wavelength Does
Red light (630–660nm) penetrates into the dermis, stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, reducing inflammation, accelerating cellular repair, and improving skin tone and texture. Ideal for anti-aging, general rejuvenation, and post-procedure recovery.
Near-infrared light (830nm) reaches into the subcutaneous tissue, providing powerful anti-inflammatory effects, accelerating healing, improving circulation, and addressing deeper structural concerns.
Blue light (415–430nm) targets and destroys the bacteria responsible for acne without harming surrounding skin, and helps regulate sebum production — an excellent option for acne-prone and oily skin.
Yellow light (590nm) targets surface redness, rosacea, and vascular concerns, reducing the appearance of flushing and broken capillaries.
What to Expect
Patients simply relax while the LED panel is positioned close to the skin for 20–30 minutes. There’s no discomfort, no heat sensation, and no downtime. Makeup can be applied and normal activities resumed immediately.
Results & Treatment Series
LED therapy is cumulative. Improvements develop and compound over a series of 6-10 sessions typically administered one to three times per week followed by monthly maintenance.
